This new alliance will help us further realize this vision. “”Survival rates for childhood cancer have improved significantly over the past 50 years largely due to coordinated efforts in clinical research” said William Roberts M. “This new alliance will allow us not only to continue to contribute to the progress in clinical research for childhood cancer but to significantly improve it through the development and implementation of innovative clinical trials translational research and basic science research. I expect that children with cancer will realize the benefits of this alliance in the near future.

Because Alzheimer’s impairs a person’s ability to make judgment decisions both the subject and his or her study partner will be asked to sign documents consenting to take part in the study. The study partner must be someone who sees the patient at least twice a week and can accompany him or her to all study visits. The study visits will take place at the General Clinical Research Center’s outpatient clinic located in the MedInn building on the U-M medical campus. Parking will be provided. For more information on Alzheimer’s research at the University of Michigan contact Joanne Lord Clinical Research Coordinator at (734) 647-7760 or.
