These molecular biology methods have a growing usage in many sectors of the industry including food and feed safety environmental control pharmaceutical drug and diagnostic development. They are also one of the main tools currently used in life science research. Molecular-biological techniques are used to develop new generations of drugs in clinical research. They enable optimisation of the research by taking into consideration genetic differences in individuals improving effectiveness and reducing side effects. Synthetic nucleine acids are futher utilised in clinical diagnostics and also the agricultural industry to discover metastases viral infections and contamination of food. “Through these acquisitions we will together with our new partners improve our market penetration in the area of molecular-biological research” said Dr. Gilles Martin CE of Eurofins.

The state-of-the-art facility located at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre at an investment of Rs five crore would exclusively cater to stem cell and bone marrow transplants for hematological and oncological disorders TRICell Vice Chairman S Abhaya Kumar told reporters here on Thursday. At a later stage TRICell would also introduce treatment methods of regenerative medicine — a concept in which stem cells were induced to differentiate into the specific cell types required to repair damaged or destroyed cell populations. He said the clinical research arm of TRICell would conduct neurological and vascular disorder clinical trials to begin with and expand its horizon to other areas in due course. Kumar said world-renowned stem cell therapists would carry out research activities at the centre and more funds would be invested for the purpose. LifeCell would set up such centres in Delhi Mumbai Kolkata and Pune by 2009.

Identifying issues deemed important by the research community could help focus translational research resources ensuring that opportunities for important clinical advances aren't missed. "This appears to be a novel way to identify the most important challenges for improving breast cancer treatment and prevention" explains Professor Dowsett. "The work will allow investigators globally to select the most relevant clinical research questions in their efforts to translate the major advances in basic science to improvements in the clinical management of this common malignancy. I am grateful to the participants from 48 countries who made this possible. " Charlotte Webber | Quelle:.
