Harbin is the first office-based practice to be allowed to participate in clinical research and will be able to draw from studies and research from across the nation to help improve the care of patients right here in Rome. The program will give Harbin doctors like Dr. Dilawar Khan new options to treat those who are suffering from common types of cancers ranging from the lungs to the colon. “This program gives us broader access to clinical trials from all around the United States” Khan said. “And we wanted to be able to participate in some elegant clean trials that will help further the study of oncology.
