The HRC is the principal Government agency responsible for funding health research in New Zealand. ne million dollars is allocated from the HRC?s Investment Strategy to fund Feasibility Studies in the fields of public health or clinical research. f the five that have received funding one was Maori health research one was clinical research and three were public health research. ?The studies are important ground work that will help decide if larger investment in these particular projects is warranted? says HRC Chief Executive Dr Robin lds. Feasibility Studies are carried out to test issues affecting a planned larger study. The projects address whether the proposed choice of methodologies is appropriate the likelihood of obtaining valid results and acceptability in a population.

We are looking to fill a SCRA role within an international CR. This position would suit either an SCRA or an experienced CRAII. Core Responsibilities-As a Senior Clinical Research Associate you would operate as the focus for communication with Clinical Research Associates and the Sponsor. You would also act as the lead contact of the project team with study site personnel and also act as a mentor for CRA's. -As you would report to the project leader and may assume the role of Lead CRA by providing direction to the project team. -You would also perform trial initiation close out activities you would coordinate monitoring activities manage site activities to ensure clinical data integrity in line with company Regulatory and Ethical guidelines for Good Clinical Practice. – As Senior CRA you would provide clinical and technical support and would develop CRF's and act as liaison between monitoring and other functions.
